Paragliding for beginners and amateurs: an exceptional experience

Azur Parapente offers tandem paragliding flight packages. Located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, we give you the opportunity to fly over the Côte d'Azur, from Menton to Nice via Monaco.

Our paragliding flight packages are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced pilots. The duration of a standard discovery flight varies between 10 and 15 minutes over 700 meters of altitude difference.


For those who wish to extend the initial duration, the longer paragliding ride formula is possible. Azur Parapente allows you to fly over the region for up to 40 minutes depending on the weather conditions. Come with your family or in a group, we can organize up to three simultaneous flights thanks to our team of professional instructors.

Flight season: from October 1st to END OF APRIL

What is the season for a paragliding flight in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin?

Azur Parapente is open for seven months of the year, from October to the end of April in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. The conditions for paragliding are simply magical and its title of one of the 10 most beautiful paragliding sites in Europe is well deserved!


Don't hesitate to come and fly away this winter! This is often where the magic happens, with spectacular flights against a backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of Mercantour and if you're lucky you'll have an incredible view of Corsica on the horizon. Hold on tight, the sky is waiting for you!



The reason why there is no paragliding activity in summer in Roquebrune cap-Martin is based on two major safety factors.


1 - The first concerns the aerological conditions. When temperatures are too high, flights become uninteresting because it is difficult to gain altitude, and they can even be dangerous. Paragliding activity depends on the air movements in the atmosphere, and the study of these movements, called aerology, is essential to guarantee the safety and comfort of our passengers.

2 - The second reason, more practical, specifically concerns Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. A paragliding flight with Azur Parapente ends with a landing on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Côte d'Azur: the Golfe Bleu beach. It is beautiful all year round, but invaded by tourists in summer. For safety reasons, the beach is therefore inaccessible to paragliding activities. You can't imagine landing among parasols and sandcastles, can you? It would be a shame to lose such a spectacular landing area!


However, Azur Parapente is not closed. Our professional team continues to work from Chamonix to Annecy, via the Vosges. We operate all year round on the most beautiful French paragliding sites.

For thrill seekers, the "sensation" flight option is made for you! You have the opportunity to pilot the paraglider and experience aerial acrobatics performed by your instructor.
